W£atching this Hospital thing on Ch4.
The perils of teenagers & drink & drugs & the use of NHS resources.
    Scary stuff.
The doctors all seem so young:rotfl:
    Must be getting old:eek:

Oooo I'm watching this but it's really winding me up. One of the hopsital staff keeps complaining about teenagers in A&E drunk being a drain on resources and she'd rather spend her time on older patients...

Hmmm what about those that smoke, or eat to excess, or have a household accident due to carelessness.... and drain the hospital of resources.

Not to mention the huge waste of money injecting that girl with ten times the amount they were meant to... a massive waste of money, resources, making more work for themselves and causing patient's heart to arrest for 9minutes!!!

Don't get me wrong I appreciate that accidents happen and I agree that doctors and nurses are overworked, underpaid and put their own lives at risk too. Just that one woman having a moan with a useless argument.

Not to mention the amount of times I've spotted them touching their own faces with gloves on... hmmm great infection control between them and patients.

just seen a funny comment on an estate agent's details. It's for a flat in Bournemouth with a skylight in the bathroom and it says

"Sky light which yes looks out onto....you guessed it...the sky"

Those who eat to excess and those that have children young are to come in the next two programes I think. I like the program, the last case was upsetting though. :o

She's off on one again... and so am I!

That's good they're gonna cover other aspects too... I didn't realise that but I'm pleased to hear it. Although I don't think any one can be labelled a drain on resources.

Yes the upsetting case was a nice change. And the candid way the nurse spoke about speaking to relatives was interesting and refreshing.
