QueensferryRoss - I agree with both the aspects that RAS has posted for you.
Just add ... rather than an MP or local councillor - I would suggest you contact one of the MSP's at the Scottish Parliament - I know they are interested and keen to help where these problems are happening - and as you probably know there will be more than one MSP for your area.If many little people, in many little places, do many little things,
they can change the face of the world.

Thanks to all who replied originally.
Bit of a bump with an update and some questions.
Assisted sale process has not gone ahead as the bank's estate agent price was so appalling, I called the bank to complain and they agreed to re-do my monthly instalment and take it off, so its for sale via my good old solicitor at something other than a silly price.
Now for the question. Given the mortgage account is fine, and given the court order is against the ex, can the bank actually force me to sell the house to repay their debt ?
Given that I live in the house, I am repaying the mortgage borrowing, can they actually put me out ?0
