Interested...although it might be worth pointing out that the majority of things we're likely to swap will be the stuff we can't sell on ebay!! A gaming forum I visit has a great system inplace and its all about feedback like Ebay.
When it first started only trusted and well established members traded and for each successful trade they were awarded +1 feedback which was put in a thread so people could see they were someone who was trusted to trade with.
Now when it got to the turn of someone trading without feedback but the person they were trading with had +1 or more the person without feedback sent the item first and once it was recieved they got +1 feedback and the person who already had feedback sent them their item.
Does that make sense?Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 0650 -

try https://www.readitswapit.co.uk for books, works on a similar system of feedback ratings. Why not buy some cheap books from a charity shop, read them, then swap them for more and so on...
Also try freecyle in your area (look on google), not quite swapping but a good way to give things you don't want (and can't sell!) a new home. Good for my conscience, environmental and otherwise!
An MSE swap shop would be good for items such as CDs, DVDs etc, might be cheaper to pay the postage to swap than sell and rebuy on ebay IYSWIM!
Great idea!

Ah well nevermind, I can see why though I mean if anything bad happend people would blame the site which really wouldn't be at fault.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 0650
