Help with food intolerances.

I have just been diagnosed with various food intolerances including cows milk, goats milk, yeast and eggs. I have also been told that I should limit soya products as it interfers with the thyroid and I have problems with that. I need help with knowing how to substitute these ingredients in bread and cakes etc and any other advise on making my new diet as interesting and varied as possible. I know that there are 'free from' ranges in the supermarkets but would like to keep the cost down as much as possible and make my own. For instance, the recipe that I have for soda bread, which came with my breadmaker, includes buttermilk, which is no good for me. How do I make cakes without eggs? Can you make cakes without eggs? Even in the war they used dried eggs.

When you say 'diagnosed' are we talking by a medical doctor?
    How to find a dentist.
    1. Get recommendations from friends/family/neighbours/etc.
    2. Once you have a short-list, VISIT the practices - dont just phone. Go on the pretext of getting a Practice Leaflet.
    3. Assess the helpfulness of the staff and the level of the facilities.
    4. Only book initial appointment when you find a place you are happy with.

Private test by a company endorsed by Allergy UK. But they confirmed what I already suspected, although there were a few surprises. Still comes as a bit of a shock though.

as for the milk alternatives in bread and cakes, try pure sunflower margarine, it contains no milk or soya, can't suggest anything to replace the eggs or yeast in cakes tho...

Thanks, I will put it on old style. Do you know how I transfer it or do I just rewrite it all?
