Dual purpose foods

I quite often have a day cooking mince with onions and then freezing it in individual meal portions, so that I can defrost and make into other meals - cottage pie, bolognese, curry etc etc

I try and do this if Im making a shepards pie, lasagna, chilli or spagbol. We use minced lamb as I cant eat beef and I make an extra pie/lasagna or surplus chilli and spagbol and freeze it. We maybe have one once a week.

There was a feature in Good food Magazine last year along the same lines with mince - and then defrost and make something different every time. I'll have a look to see what month it was .
