I am looking for a (hopefully) Free 'Organiser' program - Any ideas

Hi - I'm not sure if this is the right board, but I am looking for a good organiser programme for my laptop.
I know that there are organisers within the MS Office software, but I did once see one that looked, and behaved, like the now old fashioned 'filofax'.
All ideas gratefully accepted - Thanks.

The lightning extension for Mozilla thunderbird offers calendar functions and is what I use.

Google calendar is a pretty good web based alternative

this program used to look and behave like a 'filofax' and came with the Lotus Smartsuite collection of applications (Lotus' version of Microsoft Office).

It used to be shipped with many an old IBM desktop or laptop so many people may have a copy 'lying' around. (ibm info at world-wide-web-01-dot-ibm-dot-com-slash-software-slash-lotus-slash-products-slash-organizer

but alas, it's not free from IBM online!
