Now, of course, part of the reason for doing this is the sheer joy of the title, after all Easter and 'cheap' go together. Shops are hotly competing to smash each others' egg prices, so we want to collate the most egg-cellant choccy bargains.

For starters there's

  • ASDA: Kiddies small eggs (including Smarties Shake it, Milky Bar and Whinnie the Pooh eggs) for 68p

Adult large eggs (including Galaxy, Aero and Mars) for £3.

  • Free Creme egg at Sainsbury's. Free Creme Egg for under-12s until Thurs. Just say "Happy Easter" to Sainsbury's customer service staff while stocks last, or get apple/orange instead to be healthy. Full details.
  • Somerfield: Kiddies small eggs (including Dairy Milk Buttons) for £1.

Adult large eggs are £5 each or 2 for £8.
  • Tesco: Kiddies small eggs are £1.49 each, or buy one get one free.

Adult large eggs are £4.99 each, or buy one get one free.
We'd like to collate a list of all the other cheap, big, good eggs MoneySavers can find.

Please post below to share your top bargains.

A lot of people, myself included, are finding that the Cadburys eggs are in fact 2 for £10. I think the 2 for £3 was a mistake but well done to anyone who got them at that price!
  • In home bargins they are doing the star wars/ simpsons eggs with a mug RRP £4.95 for .99p also the disney bucket with eggs .99p, so go get yourself a bargin there was also some hanna montana & high school musical eggs on offer aswell. Hope this helps someone save some money :j

This weekend, Cadbury are sponsering Easter Egg Hunts at loads of National Trust Properties across the UK. Search eastereggtrail on google to find the one nearest you. There are 248 happening across the UK. I believe they are running on the Sunday and Monday.

The Cadburys collection egg was a misprice and has now been resolved in stores.

The Cadburys medium eggs should of been 3 for £5 however I spoke to a stock manager last night who advised me that they are having trouble on the tills with the multibuy deals - hence the reason for reducing them to 99p each
It's nice to be nutty but's more important to be nice
