account numbers

Hi a strange one here I'm currently taking advice from a finacial advisor on what to do about my debts, they have reqested the original account numbers of three of my debts. two of wich are credit cards one a natwest loan, I have been on a DMP for over a year and a half now and since starting it my debts have been passed on to debt collection firms, I have shreded the original loan agrements with all the original account numbers on, I have found a copy of a old cccs statment with the account numbers on but the finacial advisor is telling me the loan account should be a 16 didget number like the card accounts, is this correct are loan accounts numbers the same lenght than c/card account numbers?

I am not sure about the account numbers. I don't think the loan does have 16 digits. I think they can be a bank account number.

Can I ask who you are on a DMP with and why you are now speaking to a Financial advisor.

the advisor is based in a well known estate agency, not some back street outfit or random tv advertised firm,

but thankyou very much for your advice i will give this some further thought and not just jump in
