Went last week with wh smiths 241 voucher so payed £76 for 2 adults. Not worth it compared to euro disney or port aventura and the shuttle bus from\to Windsor cost us £14 and was a rabble at the end of the day, no queuing.

greenfingers, we were there last week. It was our first time at legoland and I sooo wish we had got a Qbot as we waited for almost an hour for one ride.

Thanx snoony2, was it good day other than queueing? I've organised a group of us to go, aunts and uncles too, so hoping there's some good adult rides too.

Greenfingers, We had a lovely day - weather was great though which helps :)

There are rides which adults will enjoy (a few were far too scary for me - but that isn't saying much!- ) - but the park doesn't have as many 'bigger' rides as some of the other theme parks, like Alton Towers. It might be worth looking on the site to see if you can download a map so that you can plan what you want to go on.

I do wish I'd planned a little before we went as it seems impossible to see everything in a day and we didn't get the chance to go on a few rides that we would have liked to.

We went with our daughters aged 8, 9 and 10. It wasn't just the rides they enjoyed - they were amazed by the lego models in miniland and they loved the 'Revenge of the Aztec Queen' show in Lego City (so did their dad!). They also spent a good 20-30 minutes playing in the rat trap play area (whilst their dad queued for food! - will be taking packed lunches next time!)

Anyway, hth, have fun - we thought it was a great place :)

...just to add - after our day out we went for a meal at La Tasca, Windsor, which if you are driving is not too far from legoland - we printed out 2 of the 50% off vouchers from this site and only paid £35 for 5 of us to eat - I love MSE!!
  • Q-bot....very worthwhile on a busy day. We went on Easter Monday with my brother's family, so 4 adults, 4 kids (one under 3). Decided to mix'n'match which adults went on the rides, so had a 5-person Qbot = £50. I have to say, we spent zero time waiting in line and had much less stress because of it. Indeed, there were a couple of rides where nobody in the 'regular' line managed to get on the ride. My first time at Legoland and I quite enjoyed it, which is unusual for an old grump like me!

A couple of other points...packed lunch is a must, imho. Plenty of nice areas to eat it and you almost feel happy paying for an ice cream as a treat!

La Tasca, Windsor....hope you had a nice meal there; ours was pretty dire. £80 after the discount and not particularly good service or food. GBK is next door if you have the voucher for that.
  • any money off any days out with kids is a great off bargain so thanks for that!!1 certainly helps!! :)
  • hope this would good to some people! :D
