P87 Business mileage reclaim - no longer employee

Good morning all,
I have just successfully reclaimed some cash from Gordon, for the past two years, using the P87 form.
Any idea when this year's form (for perod up to 5th April 2009) will be available?
The reason I ask is that I expect to take redundancy from my current employer any time now, and assume it would be easier to at least set the wheels moving whilst I am still an employee.

It's no more difficult to claim when you are unemployed. You will need your P60 for 08-09 anyway before you make a claim as HMRC get their copies after you get yours. You dont have to use a P87 - you can set your claim out on a sheet of paper - as long as its clear, its fine.£705,000 raised by client groups in the past 18 mths :beer:0
