My mission is to try to get my head around ebay selling today. I have sold a few bits before but always under estimated the postage. Have just now looked at the Royal Mail site where they have a list of prices :money: so can start chucking things on the kitchen scales. I once even made a loss on a book (d'uh!)

Pixie you have a great way with words and with listing this is all important, in a way that if you have a great listing people will also feel more inclined to bid on your stuff compared to a straightforward 'bogstandard' one..
My hubby got landed with a £100 fine for driving in the bus lane :eek: ..they even sent me a pic..SOOO I stuck his pic on my listing and titled it 'Help or the husband gets it!!!' and not only got loads of views but secured a lot more new and regular customers as it was more personalised than just stating what I was actually selling

hi we have been doing ebay for 2 years a bit of advice on postage check royal mail prices but sell at sellers rates ,books always far to expensive to send by post always add 2,00pound to there charges to cover wrapping etc some time you can make a bit on postage.......dont over do it though reguards andrew
