Unable to Pay - buy now pay later

My apologies if I am posting in the wrong section of the forum.

Some 10 months ago I purchased a computer from PC World in the UK on a buy now pay later plan where I would pay the full amount after 12 months, I payed about a £ 175 and have just over a £1000 left to pay on it.

My problem is that the company who I had been working for, for the last two years outsourced my department and I have been out of work and very actively trying to find work since that time, unsuccessfully however, regrettably rent and other living expenses have pretty much taken up my savings and I have since gone into overdraft and I am however now on job seekers allowance, but this is not any where near sufficient to cover the total of the amount which I am due to payback relatively shortly.

A am really hoping that I can amend the terms of the payments so as to perhaps make some monthly installments but as I am standing now I am probably not going to be able to make it more then £75 to £100 a month.

Could someone / anyone please give me some advice on this, I know this is probably going to adversely effect my credit rating but I have several promising job interviews lined up and am hoping to come into some form or another of full time employment very soon as I am doing some retraining and looking outside of my normal line of work that is IT support, and if I do come into employment again soon then I should be able to pay this amount back much sooner.

Thanks for any advice.

Bob
