Hi,
Not sure if this is the right board, if not my apologies.
My daughter has a problem some of her partners mail is sent to his parents address, his parent open any mail that is sent there. In particular a letter was sent by a dca on behalf of t-mobile (he is in dispute with them over this amount) but the problem (apart from his parents opening his post) is that his mother has rung the dca asking all about the alleged debt and they have discussed the why, when, what, etc with his mother.
I thought that any discussion could only be made with the debitor or someone who is authorised to act on his behave this would have to have been confirmed.
What can be done to prevent this happening in the future and is there any redress against the dca for disclosing this personal information.
I have advised that they implement a mail redirect to prevent any further mail being opened.
Many thanks for any advice
