I wanna buy a steam generator iron

I would like to know if anyone can recommend one. I would prefer to pay less than £150, also is it a case of you get what you pay for.

I have a Tefal simalar to this one (mine was the model before this one i think)

Mine was over £200 but i bought it in an Argos half price sale for £120.

There are 2 different types of generator available, one that boils the water in the chamber like a kettle - these kind are not continous fill, you have to switch them off and let them cool down before you can refill.
The other type are continous fill, you dont have to turn them off to refill.

I have had my tefal for approx 2 years, one of my best investments to date!

We have a Russell hobbs steam glide 2400 purchased from Argos around a year ago about £80-£90, it has continuous fill. I've had no complaints so from the other half so far .

I wouldn't bother! I bought a Tefal £120, and it was no better than my Philips Azur steam iron, and a lot more hassle, I exchanged it for a Philips £150, and it's just the same, get a good iron and save your money!
