    Solicitors Fees for your property as already said will come to no more then £3K - probably a bout £2.5K

    I spoke to 2 mortgage advisors, L&C and the local estate agent one. The guy at L&C was very helpful and in my opinion far better at this job then the other guy.
    A bargain is only a bargain if you would have brought it anyway!

    You do get some good advisers working at ( or more likely with) estate agents , however they will of course vary .

    Not knocking them , but IMHO you often find that those working inside the larger chains have not always had the same level of experience as some stand alone brokers ( that said I believe L&C also sometimes take on people new to the business)

    Although you do get some old timers that are happy with the sales/ bonus structure

    The advisers in estate agents ( especially chains) are usually targetted to get a certain amount of business ( often % of sellers and buyers), although even standalone advisers working inside an estate agents are likely paying a fee ( usually % of commission ) to be receiving those leads
