Just a up date as to what is happening....decided to go and find a new home which we did. Had a mortgage done in 'princible' and then it came back with a decline. Apparently my credit rating score is only fair because I do not have a credit history because I don't owe anybody anything!!! so how do I get around that in a fast way? It seems that if I had some debts, credits cards and store card I would be ok0

mobile phone contract, take out a credit card use for say grocery shopping and pay the balance in full each month - seems strange I know, but they like to know you can manage credit.0
