Jasmine bridal - £60 ivory surcharge!

We're having a simple wedding, and I want a tea length dress. Have already brought a couple of moneysaving things for my outfit by the way - a crochet cover up reduced from £100 to £30 from Debenhams and a delicate headband from Jon Richard bridal for five pounds!

I like a Jasmine bridesmaid dress, which can be made in ivory. But the bridal shop I was in yesterday said that Jasmine charge an extra £60 for making up the dress in ivory, as they have cottoned on that brides are wearing them. The thing is, I was in another bridal shop the week before and they didn't mention anything, so I'm wondering if it is the store and not Jasmine.
