i feel like throwing in the towel

I have recently applied for a departure and been awarded a very samll amount to go towards my travel to work costs. Now i am told by the CSA that the PWC has submitted a departure application!!! They said they dont know under what grounds but have advised that it will probably be for my wife to pay towards a child that was cruelly taken away from me.
Now all i can do is wait for the form to land and then wait for that brown letter to drop through the door demanding more money. I have already been made bankrupt once because of the CSA and just when i am back on my feet along comes the PWC looking for another pund of flesh.
Can you believe the nerve of some people!!!!??? They want youo to pay but dont care one bit that you dont see your child!!
From reading the posts its not like i can even get her partner involved as they dont have a child together!!! !!!!!!!!!!!
So i am left pondering what daft amount i will be asked to pay next and from what i can see i will have no grounds for a challenge. Round 12 to the CSA seconds out for me! I have heard that i could argue under "just and equitable" but i am not sure if that only counts if you have a child under the roof.
My feeling is become a martyr and on my death note state her lies the body of a broken man! As always wipe your feet on the way out

Hi,
sorry to hear of your situation, my OH is going through a rough time with the CSA also, his ex wife hasn't let him see his kids for 5 years, yet the government expect him to pay ridiculous amounts regardless of other bills.
I have had some very sound advice on here. Google Families need Fathers (FNF) if you sign up (think its £30 odd a month) and they hold various meetings up and down the country throughout the month and also have experts there to give advice etc.
Also look into a defined contact order, apparantly if you get a notice attached to the order, if your ex refuses access they can be fined/jailed etc and be answerable to the courts and in some circumstances residency can be granted to you.
Might be worth checking out because also you don't need a solicitor so no need for thousands of pounds in fees.
Hope this helps slightly.

JL77 is yours an old style case or a CS2 one? If the former then they don't have to have a child together for you to get her partner's income taken into account for housing costs - you apply for a departure. I don't understand that grounds you mean when you say she has applied for a departure on the grounds for you to pay for a child who has been taken from you - is that not the child for whom the case is open? If not, then what are the circumstances as it doesn't make sense.0

sorry guys for the confusion but is for the child that the case is open for. I jsut get really annoyed that her costs are not taken into consideration!!!0

They are unless she gets working tax credits if it is a CS1 case - is it?0

Hi.
What ever happens dont give up, and dont let the ba*****s win. It is easy for me to say out here in cyber land, but your kid is worth more than these parasites! You have to for the sake of your child get in there and fight both the CSA and your ex, remember you have to be in it to win it!
When your child and she will, comes up to you and gives you a big hug and says "Daddy I love you" it is all worth it! Take it from one who has been there, and is hated by both his ex and the vermin in the CSA! I have fought this battle and to a degree won, and am still fighting, the reason; my 2 kids [not so little now] but hell will frezze over before I give up on them, dig deep and fight, the more of us that do then the faster the system will be changed!
Chin up kid!0
