Wish i'd allowed myself more than £15 now. Today I have spent £7.20 already on coffee and danish for me & Mom (well i had toffee hot chocolate - I don't do coffee).
I have a new pair of shoes £29 but these didn't cost me anything. Womens shoes were 3 for 2 and my Mom bought 2 pairs so I got the free pair (Good old Mom again
)
I have also spent £16 on a bargin price new suitcase. However cos I don't like failing I have decided its coming out of my holiday budget (which did get a £50 boost at the weekend thanks to the grand national
).
So I'm only declaring £7.20 for todayA smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
Hi all, went out with the kids today to town , but only took £10 with me and swore not to use my debit cards at all.
I came back with 60p, so well chuffed that i restrained myself and didn't do any 'silly' spending, like i would normally do! Only bought what i needed and nothing else
I made it clear to the kids that i was only taking £10 and it worked a treat!
Will remember that one for another time - LOL!

Hi all
So far £3.72, spent yesterday on a few bits for work, really should take advantage of free food at work, though this doesnt work with my diet.
have been food shopping today (spent from grocery budget) so have now stocked up with lots of dinners and snacks so shouldn't have to just 'pop' to the shop for bits and pieces.
out for tea tonight for a friends 30th, but we're doing cheap and cheerful, though did spend a bit extra on her pressie.
hope you're all doing well.

I had a great week last week, only spent £8.18 so I'm green again. I still haven't withdrawn anything for this week since my housemate is yet to cash the cheque she pestered me for for a week ( ) so I don't know where I am with money right now. My weekly shop's been paid for by my grandparents since I'm back in Scarborough so no money spent this week so far. :j So if you could stick me down for £10 again, that would be great.

Evening all.
First post has been updated.
I hope you are all having a good week. For me I have spend 43p on chewing gum, and £1.35 on bus to work as was running too late to walk today. Also £1.20 on underground to get to my friend's house. So total for me today is £2.98.
I now have newly coloured hair that may not be quite the same colour in all parts but has saved me at least £50 as my friend did it so could be worse.Weekly Spend Challenge: £0/£30

Hi all,
Hope the week's going well.
Amazingly I still have my £20 note sitting snugly in my purse. It's a first for me. Usually I seem to spend money as soon as I see it.
I'm having a nice glass of red to celebrate (which was free thanks to a raffle win :j).

Blaaaargh! For a week which began with 2 NSD's I've completely blown my budget
A third prescription and getting some Lemsip for my Mum from the hugely overpriced chemist in our village wiped out £12. Fuel for the tank took £10 and then Slimming World subs took another £4.50. My only treat was lunch with my best friend before her holiday, coming in at £4.
Does anyone else find that after a NSD or two they blow a lot of cash in one day? Seems to be a pattern with me.
Will reign it in for the rest of the week, although I'm pretty sure there has been a cinema trip planned for Friday.
Hope you other DFW's are having a better week :easter:
Finally a Homeowner 04.10.13 :j
