Drea is correct, if you just F5 it reloads the same page, Ctrl + F5 clears the cache and starts afresh, any mis-loaded pages are only refreshed with the same problem using F5 on its own.Luck is believing you’re lucky – Tennessee Williams

PS. Ctrl + F5 forces a complete reload of the page, not just a refresh
well, everyday is a school day!
googled it and it says To reload a page and bypass the cache: either: Hold the Ctrl key, and press F5.
what is 'bypassing' the cache as opposed to "clearing" the cache as Barnabysue says above?
well....we may as well have an IT lesson whilst the site is down! ;-)
