Looks good. Are these suitcases light? My mum has back problems so I would like to buy her some cases that don't put strain on her back when she travels...

Tripp are great as they offer a "lifetime"gtee.

As for being light..the difference between a light suitcase and a heavy case when empty is at the most 2kg.

When she travels it will be full so the weight will be down to how much she puts in it:confused:

The Tripp cases on the website are shown as having a 5 year guarantee.
I bought a Medium sized black one here, and it's as big as the large one I got in a set of three.
It was £30, but got it for £24, with free delivery, after discounts. I thought it was fine for the price that I paid for it,but I was disappointed with the quality. It was certainly not worth £90.

Thanks for this i just bought 2 for £62.40 when they were supposed to be £130 each! Youd pay £30 for a normal case anyway...althought as the first post i would never pay £130 for a suitcase!

  • Did anyone get any information about the guarantee with their delivery. I didn't get anything, and was sure the guarantee was 10 years when I ordered. On the website now it says 5 years.
Can anyone else who ordered these cases provide any information about the guarantee they got?

When I mentioned the lifetime gtee on tripp luggage, It was because the salesperson on the Tripp concession in a Debenhams store told me that was the case.

I did have cause to retrun a case after a couple of years with a broken lock and the case was exchanged without any fuss.

Hi, Thanks for the great info here. Does anyone know whether the different sizes of hard case stack inside each other for storage?

    Thanks

My OH has just bought a Tripp cabin suitcase for £24 in our local Debenhams - reduced from £115 to £45 to £30 and with an extra 20% off in the current promotion. Excellent quality and value if anyone is still looking to buy. It has a 5 year guarantee label.

    Thanks to the OP.

mine arrived today - I ordered a cabin bag for £40, it's OK, I'm not convinced it looks like the £100 case they claim. i have a samsonite one that was over £100 which is far better quality. This is an OK suitcase for £40 but imho was never worth £100
