I was getting bored of Lavazza, having tried Taylors Lazy Sunday, Asda's Columbian and there is so much choice, I have now gone for Taylors Rich Italian.
Any suggestions around £2.50 to £3.00 a pack.

I just buy whatever is on offer as long as it's strength 3 or above. At least that way you get to try lots of them and it gives you some variety
2008: £783.12 - 2009: £6,401.15 - 2010: £4,230.61 - 2011: £8720 - 2012: £2,041.89
2013: £134.960 -
Always go for Sainsburys 'Taste the Difference' - Paupua New Guinea Sigri Estate, strength 4, or Guatemala Genuine Antigua, strength 3. At the moment on offer of 2 for £4.00. Both are extremely good.0

Trial and error, until I eventually discovered my favourite
Percol Colombian. It was BOGOF in Tesco a few weeks ago, but I'm going to run out this week!
I was chain-drinking Instant coffee a year ago. I got rid of the Instant and bought myself a one pot cafetiere. I now savour one cup of delicious coffee each morning and that's it. As it's a bit more of a faff to make than instant, I've managed to wean myself off the habit!0 -

I buy Tesco filter coffee with the red stripe - strength 3 I think. Lovely not too strong cuppa.
I tried co-op fair trade and found it a bit harsh so went back to the cheaper Tesco one. £1.39 for 227g
I buy lavazza for espresso though - lovely.Newlywed at the point I joined the forum... now newly separated0 -
Any reccomendations for beans for my bean to cup coffee machine. I have currently got some starbucks house blend - offer at tesco. The Sainsbury own brand espresso beans are good. Cant really justify the cost of Illy and have been using the Lavazza red for a while but got bored. I am sooooo gflad i spent the extra on the machine and not got one with pods as the price per cup is soooo reasonable. Any suggestions on what to try next....0

The best filter coffee I've tasted so far is Carte Noir and anyone who has been here for coffee always compliments and asks what it is. I think it's about £2.60 a packet, so not ultra expensive either.
