    Welcome back everyone!

Well this weekend has not been good on the spending front. We have been to hotel for my husbands work do, dinner and dance. Although only drank wine that was inculded in the price of the ticket and got cashback on the room. I also took a unopened bottle of wine home with me:beer:

    - Today has been a NSD
    - Charged phone at hotel
    - Took biscuits from the room in the hotel for work next week
    - Daily cards 30p
    - Store cupboard dinner although not hungry so will cook and save for tomorrow
    - Done 2 loads of washing and made sure machine is FULL
    - Heating and hot water off all weekend as no one here.
    - Sold 2 bits on ebay that will need posting tomorrow.

Hi everyone - oh, I'm glad to have MSE back!

    1) Scratches x 3
    2) Downloaded 2for1 Diggerland vouchers to use next week when we are on our holiday.
    3) Researched other things to do on our holiday.
    4) Bought whoopsied veg at Tesco for soups, and used vouchers for extra CC points before they expire.
    5) Found my Eco friendly cleaner re-fill pouches for 50p ( think they have been discontinued ) so stocked up.
    6) Had a lovely day out walking along the beach in the sunshine yesterday.
    7) OH had a funny turn on the way to car-boot so we didn't go in thus avoiding spending any money. An afternoon in A&E later and he is now fine, thank goodness.
    8) B wants to go to London for her birthday celebration / present in June. She will be 13:eek:How did that happen? I looked online and found we can both go there and back via Megabus for a total of £4. Wow!!!!
    9) Topped up my phone and got 30 mins free to a landline. I will use this to call my sister in Brighton who is overdue with her baby. Poor love has been stopping and starting for weeks now.

Tomorrow I shall be on a quest to buy the newly released Twilight as cheap as possible. I am sure it will be a price worth paying though as B is almost hyperventilating with excitement. Apparently the star Robert Pattinson lives in London ... I wonder if that is anything to do with why she wants to go there ....

Marru - It would seem you are not alone in your dislike of Oatibix. Apparently they are very nice in place of Weetabix in the cake and brownie recipes in this thread though!

Funny story - my DD LOVES twilight and saw 3 times in cinema. She made me order it online on Wed so she is hoping and praying it arrives tomorrow. We went for a dvd to watch this weekend and our Blockbusters had the empty Twilight boxes on Display and she screamed. The guy asked her if she wanted to hold the box which she did then promptly burst into tears LMAO - was SO funny. She is 13 too!!!

I wont tell her he lives in London or she will have me on the train by lunch time
