just managed to log on and post a message. tried logging on late sat night just before midnight but kept getting the message that owners bandwith exceeded or something like that so gave up. was working the rest of the time so couldnt log on, but that forum seems to be running now and the bandwidth issues seem to be sorted. anyway MSE is back and running now. thanks for the alternative for the weekend PN.

was trying to post a reply to the post about the wonderful house on the beach which PN had posted about but couldnt log on later to the forum.
I did keep upping the bandwidth, but I must admit it took me by surprise just how much it did use.

I think there was a 5 minute hosting server problem at some point, I guess I'm used to them sometimes late at night so was annoyed but knew it'd be back before I could get onto them to ask what was up.

The servers are shared hosting, not dedicated. I have a reseller account and run about 8 domains off the same host, along with probably 100 other websites by god knows who.

You get what you pay for and hosting's always a problem because you don't know how good it is until you try to use it and use it over time. Overall, it's reliable enough for my needs though.
