When I was in Spain last week I received this email:-


Hi Shjo558.

You are our winner from the FourFourTwo, Linha De Passe competition featured recently on FourFourTwo.com.
If you could email me back your home address, I will arrange for your prize to be sent out.

As you will see from the email the actual prize isn't mentioned so I was straight onto MSE and searched for fourfourtwo and also Linha De Passe.
Although there are a few Linha De Passe comps, the only one I found for fourfourtwo was this one http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1523073&highlight=linha+de+passe

The prize for the comp above is a DVD and a PS3.

The closing date of the comp also ties in with the date the WEM was sent. However, I have received the DVD but there has been no mention of a PS3. I feel a bit cheeky replying to the email asking what the prize was but the PS3 is one of my top 3 must have wins this year so I don't want to miss out on it!
What do you think?

I'd definitely email them back and say that the competition you thought you'd entered was for a PS3. Can't hurt can it? If you don't ask you don't get. Best of luck, let us know how you get on! :beer:

I think that I would email and ask them. Even though it might seem cheeky, you are never going to meet the person who you are emailing, so what does it matter if they think that you are a cheeky so and so. You don't have to tell them that you are a regular comper and searched it out on MSE. Just make out that you seem to remember....

I would email them back too, when I had problems receiving my wii I just put something along the lines of 'I apologise if I sound rude' or 'I don't want to sound rude but......'

You could always mention that you save competitions you enter as bookmarks or in a folder for future ref...

Thanks guys, I have emailed asking for a winners list using hubbies email address;) and also emailed them using my own address to find out what happened to the PS3:o

I have also taken a screen dump just in case they pull the page.

I'll update once I hear back from them.

i won last year with them and it was a bbq and a football and they were delivered seperately . the football took ages to come
