We are mailing from Dell in relation to your Inspiron 6000 order which you placed online last week. For a limited period from 11am till 7.20 pm on 3rd March , an additional discount was incorrectly applied to the memory , appearing on our UK and Irish web sites. The error was quickly identified and rectified by our Pricing and Online teams. We sincerely regret this error and apologise to you for any confusion.

During that time period, you attempted to place an order at the incorrect price. However, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions of sale which say that orders are only binding when confirmed by Dell in a written order confirmation, we cannot honour your order at that price as you did not receive an order confirmation. You may have received an order acknowledgement after placing your order and you will see it states that Dell is not responsible for typographical, pricing or other errors and reserves the right to cancel any orders based on such errors. In addition as stated above orders are only binding when an order confirmation has been received.

The correct price for the order you wished to place is 270.25 Pounds on top of the original price communicated via your acknowledgement receipt.
