I hope this is the right place to post.
Can anyone please help, I purchased 2 pairs of jeans in River island today and they dont fit.(i know I should have tried them on:o )I paid in cash.
My question is, will I be able to get a cash refund if I return the jeans tomorrow.I have my receipt and the jeans have all their tags.Or will I have to exchange.
Thanks in advance.
sorry again if this is the wrong place

If you paid in cash and have your receipt I do think with River Island you will get a cash refund back. If you don't want a wasted trip I'd give them a call first thing to ask them, they'll beable to confirm.. Hope this helps..This is a system account and does not represent a real person. R.I are actually very good on refunds- in my experience (I used to work there) we used to have a no questions asked refund policy- this was 3 years ago but I doubt it has changed, its alot easier to get a refund then places like Arcadia and HMV for example where they often offer vouchers or similar rather then the refund.
If you paid in cash, you get the money back in cash, no questions asked other then the general "was there a problem" which means to them: 'can I sell these on/is there a hole or something I need to know about that would make them unsellable.'0 -
I've just checked their T&C and you have 14 days to return the goods if you have a receipt and you'll get a full refund. If you paid by cash, you will get refunded in cash0

OP should be aware that it is not a legal requirement for them to refund you & lots of high street retailers are tightening up on this
Just something to keep in mind"Very funny, Scotty. Now beam down my clothes."
All truth goes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Then, it is violently opposed. Finally, it is accepted as self-evident.0 -

Thats what I mean when I say RI have an unusually customer focused refund system- they just refund- many places don't!0
