Any tips on feedback that can be left and is not a false positive preventing it being removed

Sellers are crippled by them being prevented leaving negatives
    It's an outrage

People will find ways around this

Hardly an outrage and I'm not at all crippled by not being able to leave a negative. In all my time of selling I probably only left three or four negs in several thousand sales.

You might want to try an auction site where you won't feel quite so outraged, I believe on ebid sellers can still leave whatever feedback they like.

My son sold 2 cars last month
Neither person paid, one refused to even enter into dialogue, the other was just rude & said so what basically

Yes he got fees back,NPB went to buyers
But they now still have unblemished feedback
Whilst he was left to re list

Re listing often makes bidders worry that you may of bid up the original auction yourself,or that there is something wrong with the item that stopped the sale concluding etc..

I have to say the number of non bidders ive had since i the new feedback system went from 0 when i could leave negative to about 2 out of every 20 things ive sold.
Ive opened non paying bidder alerts for every single one of them and the buyer has never responded on any of them, which prevents them leaving a negative feedback however if a buyer doesnt pay and a NPB is awarded i beleive sellers should be able to leave negative to warn other ebay sellers

After all someone can just have a buying account with 100% feedback yet they have not paid for a number of items but the seller cant leave them negative.

It looks like he leaves feedback without being involved in a transaction. How does that happen?

It woulld be good if the number of non-payment strikes in the last month/6/12 is visible.

I too have noticed a big increase - mainly from 0 feedback bidders, but the odd one from high feedback buyers who think that "paypal only" means "oh yes, I would love a postal order"...

TBH I think that is a great idea. What happened to the old days of 3 non payment strikes & then you're out. It seems ebay are no so quick nowadays to clamp down on non payers.

Feedback for buyers is pointless. I find it strange that experienced sellers dont see this.

Leaving a neg for a buyer wont stop them from bidding on your items. A NPB strike is much more effective as most sellers have there preferences set to exclude those with 2 or more.

Not being able to give buyers negs has made buyers more honest with sellers and help weed out some with terrible practices. As I said above feedback for buyers is pointless and worthless it does not matter if they have 0 or 2000 as a buyer. No system is perfect and everyone is never going to be happy.

If a seller has had an increase in NPB personally I would say take a look at your business practices and your listings. Are you leaving yourself open for NPBs in the way you work? In the wording in your listings? In your products? Everyone has a NPB sometimes but if your getting more than that I would think that there is a problem somewhere

Some sellers when they start having problems either blame ebay or the buyers without looking at themselves or there business. Ebay is not for everyone
