Regarding the default notice, would this be different to the ones now sent out when payments have been missed ? - think its two payments and one is automatically sent (according the the knowalls in work, now a legal requirement?)
The default notice will state what part of the agreement you've breached.
Click here for Martins (MSE) advice on who to contact with Debt Issues - YOU HAVE NO REASON TO USE A FEE PAYING DEBT MANAGEMENT COMPANY- THEY CANNOT DO ANYMORE FOR YOU THAN THOSE LISTED IN MY LINK ABOVE.

All information given by myself is offered informally and without prejudice - if in doubt seek help from a qualified and insured professional

No need to phone these villians...ever! All you'll get it threats from the commission-driven phone-monkey at the other end.
E-mail them ( good as you get auto-receipt ) and tell them that you will only communicate in writing......they CANNOT refuse this request!
    :D:D stay wonky :D:D

....one-way ticket to Portugal booked !
  • posted CCA to Marbes 6/04/09 .. to be honest I'm not even expecting a reply !!

Day 4 + counting .... letter delivered to THEM on 8/04/09
  • Update ....... never ever received anything back from Marbles althought debt assigned to Capquest , been paying them arranged payment since late April 2009.

Been in touch with FOS to get them to investigate the whole sorry affair
  • Update .........07/ 10 /11 ......... Been corresponding with ombudsman whom told me to go make official complaint to Marbles so I did until I got official FINAL response from them so it's stil in the hands of the ombudsman .

In-between all this I did get a payment of £ 500 from Marbles and apology for poor customer service but I'm not letting this go cos i want the debt to return to Marbles and drop Capquest cos I believe it should never have been sold to them .

In between all this I've noticed a Default on my credit file under Capquest since 2010 but still to challenge this
