Thanks very much. What I also noticed on the site when registering was this.
Your trial Family & Friends Railcard will expire on 31st July 2009.
From 21st July 2009 (until 24th August 2009) you will be able to take advantage of the special 50% discount offer when you buy a 12-month Family & Friends Railcard online. So you might want to make a note of this date to ensure your Epic Savings continue - for only £13 for another whole year.
The code in the t&c's for the 1/2 price railcard is DAILYM09 and will be valid between 21st July and 24th August.
So 14 months for only £13 counting the free trial offer.
I missed out on the free trial as I was on holiday, but looking at this I can still get 50% off by using the code on July 21st? My young persons railcard runs out in June so this will be handy I imagine, I usually travel with my wife so we just need the one railcard between us?0 -
Great offer, arrived yesterday. Loads of thanks to OP, will really save some pennys.0

Eligibility
To use your Family & Friends Railcard, your group must contain at least one named cardholder and at least one child aged between 5 and 15 years. The maximum group size is up to four adults (aged 16 years and over) including the named cardholder(s), and four children (aged 5-15 years). Don’t forget children under five travel free and each adult may take up to two “under fives” with them.
If the only child in the Family & Friends Railcard group is aged less than five years of age, the Railcard holder must purchase a discounted ticket for that child in order for the accompanying adult(s) to qualify for the discount on their tickets.
I know it has been mentioned before but wouldn't want anyone to purchase it (even at half price) if they don't have children as they won't be able to get the discounts.....;)
