Thankyou cards - when?

Hi all,

Get married 2 weeks tomorrow :shhh:

We have started to recieve some wedding gifts, do we send out the thankyou cards to those people that have gave us the gifts now or should we wait until after we are married?

Wait until after you are married, you might want to include a photo or say something about the day in them. Maybe a quick verbal thanks for now then they know the gift arrived safely?

I thought that also so it can be signed Mr + Mrs Henderson ;-)

Not been to many weddings so not sure about a lot of the formalities - Thought I just had to turn up (Ooops better run before wife to be sees this ;-) )

We still have 7 weeks to go and have started receiving some gifts already. As some of them have been cash or cheques and I don't want them to be sitting around the house until after the wedding I have banked them, therefore I will be sending out thank you cards just now as it seems cheeky to bank someones cheque without thanking them for them! Hope this helps
