Hey Snidely, my FIL was born at Alton, he was born in the Globe Pub.

Just been informed it was at Alresford, near to Alton

Alresford is lovely. There's a great walk to be had by the river. I don't know The Globe though

Does anyone else keep getting network/server errors when loading up MSE pages? Or, an error page saying MSE is down for maintenance?

Just wondering if it's MSE or me:confused:

now and again - the odd page I try to open says maintenance thing so I just try again and usually ok

what do you have to do, if you dont mind me asking, to be prescribed diet tablets? I don't really know much about them, but I know when I started my diet, 4 stones ago, I would have been classified as obese and that was the hardest time and I wondered how someone gets them is all.. I know I would have appreciated the help when I started out and not just on my willpower ;) hope people don't mind me asking :o and I have a friend who has less willpower than me who weighs roughly what I did when I started who would probably appreciate the helping first step.. :)

My Daughter had tried just about everything, she's 32 and went to get her blood pressure checked (which has been high) and she broke down in the surgery. Her Dr is very good, he agreed to let her try the tablets for a month, but she got on so well he said she can stay on them. She goes back once a month to be weighed.
