Has something changed on MSE

when I click on the thanks button it opens up a duplicate page in another tab and so instead of just having to click back once I now have to click back twice

for instance when I click on http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1636813 :(

it opens another page in a new tab
    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?p=20829327

    very strange and frustratiing too!

i've just posted on the comps discussion thread as every time I press the thanks button it refreshes the page and it's quite slow doing it too!! Really annoying as it's taking longer to go through comps and I press thanks on all of them even if don't enter

Not quite the same problem as you but I'm guessing there's something going on with the thanks button

I haven't noticed the refreshing after I press the thanks button?

EDIT: It just started doing it - after I posted the above I went back to thank the above posters and it refreshed the page. Not slow but annoying!

Yes it started happenning for me about 10-15 mins ago when I click on the thanks button I get a new page and if I go back 1 page the thanks button is there again unclicked

if I click on it again I get the following message

"Amilucky?, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:
    1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
    2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation."

Not sure what's wrong. Is there any way to report it to MSE (assuming no-one has done it already?) so they can sort it?
