Woohoo!!!!!! I'm off the losers sofa, I won a Lush box for my mum! :j It took me all weekend to prise my butt from the hole that's worn where I've been sitting - I got a red card on Saturday but was convinced it was just the Bzzz sample ... I know Flick said they did Super extra but the size of the box soon laid that one to rest when I just picked it up from the sorting office! :rotfl:

Oh, is there no way you can change your plans, as it is only one day?

or maybe you could tell them the day they've changed it to is not convenient!;)

omg what a day, i have sliced the top of my finger open at work, and its so sore. I didnt go to hospital as i hate them, took myself off to the chemist who bandged it all up for me, but its my right first finger so its hard to type.

I cant believe i did it. I was emptying the kiln at work, which was still about 85 degrees. i saw something at the bottom and thought whats that, and wiped my finger across it, it was a sliver of broken molton pottery!!! my god it was like a razor blade, and i felt it cutting eekk!!!

blood was everywhere it was not good!!! So now my finger is sore and all bandaged up and looks massive as i have about 4 layers of bandage and plaster and melolin lol

I would've fainted by now..sounds really painful and gory!!:o:o

What job do you do? Sounds like its dangerous if you work with a kiln!:eek:

i have 2 part time jobs (well 3 if you count on here im greedy lol) i work 2 days a week as a colourist and 3 days a week in a pottery studio.

I was at the pottery studio today, and was emptying all of our work out of the kiln, its not really dangerous at all, unless like me you are dumb lol.

i secretly kjnew what it was but had to touch it lol. pottery when it breaks gets really sharp razor like shards, and i had to touch it

it was the amount of blood that got me, i was bleeding everywhere, and trying to catch it in my hand lol
