This is what I am reading at the moment ..is this English:eek::eek::eek::eek:
    "To the extent that the
mammalian eye evolves, and to the extent that specification takes place
further, from say, the higher apes to homo sapiens, then there is this
'history' of adaptation and selection which results in what we would
then characterize as an undifferentiated or species-wide human
perception. Further, one might argue, in terms of an evolutionary
epistemology, that this adaptation itself would include the interaction of

alternative perceptual strategies with changing environments. "

This is what most of our social work theory books are like!

It really annoys me when authors write pages and pages of stuff, and make it all complicated with all the flowery language, when it can all be simplified into afew sentences!

Why make things more complicated then they need to be?

No Name, you have to learn to quick sentence eye scan it first get the gist and you understand much quicker. Basically its saying mammalians ( guessing that means mammals and us are evolving) To me all that was 5 words worth maybe 10 if elaborated

I've just watched Come Dine With Me from last night as my Dad's mate was on there, (and he was our removal man last August).
It also had Simon Green, who is Betty Legs Diamond on the stage at Funny Girls.

Really funny watching a show when you know someone on there.
They did edit it and make my dad's mate into something that he's not, but a good laugh anyway.

Right I'm off to bed now, had 3 beers and don't want hubby moaning again tomorrow!
