Sally, I still don't know how to do the fire fox thing but not to worry...I am too thick to understand at the moment:o
Our neighbours (only two people) are barbecuing big style  and my flat is shaking with their music! (not my style either)
So much for concentrating on studying ...well another excuse to comp0 -

Does he have to have injections or can he control it by diet?
My friend had a girl last February and she is always decked out in pink.:cool:
She has got the maddest hair I've ever seen on a baby. I think she is trying to impersonate Elvis Presley.:rotfl::rotfl:
aww she must look soo cute:D
he has type 1 so not controlled by diet, on 4 injections a day and does 6+ blood pricks a day, had it since he was 2 so doesnt know any differently, control is never perfect, either hypo or hyper, he has agressive moods due to his bloods, normal really:rotfl:i would love to do work with diabetes, raising awareness of type 1 as there is crap info out there for kids, getting better though slowly
im doing a sponsered walk this year for jdrf, thats the charity that deals with type 1 mainly kids, me and dh are also wanting to do the great wall of china trek in aid of jdrf, its getting time to actually do it, something to aim for though0 -

That's a lot of injections.
When is the Great Wall Of China Trek? Have you got a lot of sponsors for the walk you're doing this year?
It's not right that there isn't more help out there for kids. So many of them have it now.It is a scientific fact that your body will not absorb calories if you take it from another person's plate.:A :A :AChocolate is the answer and I don't give a damn whatthe question is.;)0 -
Lakshmi and Noname - I would really recommend firefox, Toni kindly told me how to install it, and now i don't know how i managed without it...it is so quick and easy...enter much more comps in the same amount of time!0

china trek, they do it evey year i think, just need to decide when we can do it really, just registered for the sponsored walk last week, so no sponsers yet, raised over £300 last eyar so would love to raise more this year, kids love doing it
its the diagnosis that needs to have awareness raised, so many parents dont know the signs and if left untreated the child can die, ds was going in to a coma when we rushed him to hosp, had a wrong diagnosis from one of our dr's, he refused to believe it was diabetes as he was so young, rare in under 5's but on the increase0 -
would recommend firefox, i love it, my brother put it on for me, would never go back to internet explorer now:D:D0
