Urgent: If taking meds> Showing Doctor's Letter at airport

Hello again everyone

We go away to the US in a few days and I have forgotten to get this sorted.

My son and i are some prescribed medication and wonder if we need to bring a letter to show at check in in at the airport..

The last couple of years i did get a letter from the Dr when we went away and brought it with us BUT we were never asked for it and no questions about our meds!

It cost £10 for the doctors letter....

Any advice please about the current situation as I am getting quite worried now.

Many thanks

Fiona

I have taken quite a bit of meds (tablets) with me to NY and never been asked for a letter. I did have one just in case. My doc just prints off your current meds and signs / stamps it. I did keep the boxes and pharmacy labels with me too though.
