I am a member of the Freeconomy Community in south London and it has saved me no end of money. But thats not the best bit!
Basically its a skill sharing website where when you need something done that your not sure how to do yourself (or afford!),you search for someone within your local area who has that skill and they come along and do it for free!
It sounds too good to be true but it isn't, I've used it loads!
It is a great way to learn skills, I am learning how to fix bikes at the minute and have fixed up my own in the process. And now myself and Leanne - the girl helping me - are ace friends too!
Website address is justfortheloveofit.org, or just search google for freeconomy, and it is free to join, not sure how they fund it as there are no adverts I can see either.
