Cheap nice hotel in Edinburgh

I am thinking of treating myself and the OH to a weekend in Edinburgh - don't want to break the bank but don't want to stay in a dump! Anyone got any suggestions of a nice cehap hotel? Maybe I am asking too much here!

We have stayed in the Travelodge a few times in Edinburgh, got the £9 and £19 rates, so a bargain! It done us as we were hardly in the room. All depends on how cheap you want it to be;)

I have used the Ailsa Craig for B&B, near city center

It was excellent and reasonably priced

I stayed at the Murrayfield Hotel. It has a nice bar and you get a full Scottish breakfast. It is in an area called Corstorphine and is opposite Murrayfield itself. You are a 10 minute ride by bus into Princes Street. Book via Quidco and get 9% cashback
