Adonia Leg Tone

I have recently ordered Adonia Leg Tone from the Adonia home website in the US. They quote prices in dollars and then provide the UK sterling equivalent price based on the current exchange rate, They also make a big thing about postage being absolutely free to the UK. The point to note is that when the product os delivered by Royal Mail there is an additional cutoms duty charge equivalent to over one-sixth of the product price to add on top and which must be paid before you can receive the goods. I emailed Adonia on the subject and they made a curt and fairly rude reply after three days. I don't know if this much hyped product is any good - but be aware it costs more than your think it will!

I can provide an update - I expressed my disappointment at the toneof the reply I had received from Adonia and I am pleased to say that a week or so and a few emails later, I have had the disputed charges reimbursed as a credit on my card. Their site still makes no mention of the charges which will be levied on every purchase but it is worth making a fuss until they come clean - and you might get your cash back in the meantime! P.S. the product appears to be very good (although it doesn't last as long as they claim either!)0

So you are on here boasting about how you scammed a company into paying YOUR import duty for you when they are already paying your shipping costs??? I thought the purpose of this forum was to raise legitimate consumer concerns. Personally, I'm not impressed and think you should consider taking some responsibility for knowing the laws of your own country rather than pointing the finger at the company who sold you the product. To me, that would be the same as buying a pair of shoes, wearning them, and then expecting that the store take them back for a full refund because you bought the wrong size.0 -
wow thats a bit strong isnt it? I mean I can see your point but at the same time you should still expect a polite response whatever the arguement0
