Wooden Train Set

Hi guys

I'm after a wooden train set with all the bits and pieces, have found a cracking on online and have sent 2 emails to find out if they have them is stock and they haven't replied, so going to have to look elsewhere!

  • Tesco have got wooden train sets for just under £10 - lots of bits and pieces with the set (about 30 pieces I think) plus you can add to it with other items which are sold separately. Hope this helps.

    IKEA do a set. It's fairly basic but perfect for small children. Perhpas if you post a link to what you have seen already we will know what sort of thing you are looking for.

    Make sure the set you buy has solid wood tracks. Some cheaper sets have plastic pegs to link the tracks, which snap off easily :(

    Try ebay too. I got some great second hand Brio on there when my two were into it.

    home bargains is where i got mine from for 6 quid, solid wood, i got extra bits from tesco such as extra bridges and turntables for a couple of quid. brio and the thomas stuff all fit on it too.
