Sewing Boxes at Hobbycraft £4.99

Went into Hobbycraft Chester today and found a stand full of really nice padded sewing boxes that would make great gifts.
The offer said "were £9.99 now £4.99" when I went to the till it came up as £17.99 and they tried to say it was only on selected boxes so I asked her to show me the SELECTED boxes as they were all the same size just different patterns. They did sell it me for £4.99 but still not sure if it was mispriced or a bargain. Worth a visit just wish I had picked up a couple more for xmas.
