Lloyds TSB / BLS collections

Hi, wonder if anyone can advise me of my next move regarding an outstanding credit card balance with Lloyds TSB.
I owe £9400 on my LTSB card which has been suspended for about 3 years.
The circumstances in which I lived until recently meant that every payment plan agreement I made with LTSB, I ended up breaking it.
I no longer live under those circumstances & spoke to LTSB who were not prepared to make another arrangement. I changed address & informed them, I have spoken to them at length regarding my debt. In the end I lost interest with them & started to ignore all calls & correspondence. In the past year, I have paid them virtually nothing.
Because they could not get hold of me, They got Telogram to try & trace me, I ignored all phone calls & correspondence. I also received corespondence from MHA collections regarding the debt, which I ignored. I wrote to LTSB & accused them of selling my debt to a third party. They replied & denied this fact but still would not agree to let me pay them back at £75.00 per month which I have offered them all along.
They have now passed the debt collection duty to BLS collections. I have only had one letter & as yet , no phone calls
The letter reads as follows:
We have been instructed by LTSB to recover balance due of £9400 under their reference number ********
We would advise you to make contact immediately with your proposals to clear the debt.
Failure to do so may force us to make contact by telephone or advise LTSB to consider whether a personal visit is required.
If you wish to make a payment today using eithr your debit or credit card then please contact us on the above number.
So people.. what's my next move? Ring them or write to them, I suspect that the letter could be classed as a threat regarding the "home visit"
I have also read that BLS are not too bad to deal with.
Background:
I have no savings.
I have a £270 personal loan for the next 4 years. (Not in arrears)
I have a £1400 O/D with my bank (Not any problem with them)
I have £210 CSA stopped direct from my salary inc. 9 months of arrears
I am not a home owner - Live in house share (Pay rent)
Apart from that - Life's fine
Any help & advice would be greatly appreciated
Regards Steve
