I think here is the best place to post it as its not a competition with the end day just a giveaway where you have to fill in questionnaire and then you can keep product...
anyway I found it in the latest issue on Vision newspaper...
More than 500 sat navs are to be given away to Lancashire motorists who agree to take part in a road safety speed trial.
The high tech sat navs will be made available to motorists.A total of 550 volunteers are needed to take part in the experiment.
Those taking part will be able to keep the sat-nav when the experiment ends in the summer.
The suspicion is that some drivers are simply unaware of the speed limits-the new boxes will tell them.
Trials start in April-If they prove a success it is hoped manafacturers may install simalar devices as standard in all new cars.
The Intelligent Speed Adaptation experiment is funded by a £849,000 Whitehall Grant to Lancashire County Council.
You can get one free if you agree to take part in the trial. All the trial involves is filling in questionnaires as the trail progress - and the sat nav is your to keep for life!
If you want to apply Call Carol at LCC on 01772 530316
or E-mail- carol.melhuish@lancashire.gov.uk
i sent an email today and got this automatic replay...
If your e mail concerns the ISA project, it will be dealt with in the next 7 working days, demand for this has been exceptional. Your details will be added to a data base and we will be in touch if you have been successful in joining the scheme.

Thanks, netimka. As I also live in Lancashire, I have sent Carol an e-mail and will keep my fingers crossed.
