Off to sunny Florida on Saturday with my dollars burning a hole in my back pocket. I'm quite surprised I haven't been innundated with requests for ipods etc from friends / colleagues............still time

You have to be a bit canny bringing them back though.
Actually use an ipod on the way back and wear the levis you've bought (though I'm not sure what they do if they have a rummage through your gear - charge you duty?).0 -
I think crash helmets are exempt from tax/vat because they are safety equipment
does anyone know what else counts as safety equipment?
ie motorcycle boots and protection, gloves etc?0
