Hi
Im getting married in a years time and there are 3 things currently im a little worried about and wondering if anyone can offer advice:
1. I havent booked a caterer yet but im going with a theme and having a pudding club style meal. The venue doesnt have a kitchen and i trying to find a caterer that will be willing to cook exactly what i want and not charge a fortune, im in kent so anyone got any suggestions?
2. I want to wear boots with my wedding dress, does anyone know where I can get these from where they dont cost the earth?
3. We have a friend making the cake and we want it to be chocolate preferably covered in ganache but she has worried me saying she doesnt have a recipe. Where can I find a good recipe or should I just bake until I find the right thing (sounds costly)
4. Due to the style of venue (tiny 800 year old building with medieval feel) we arent allowed amplified music and we dont feel its appropriate but im worried my guests wont have reason to mingle and also might fall asleep. Any ideas for inkeeping entertainment that wont cost too much?

have a look at https://www.bbcgoodfood.com/
i am doin my friends wedding cake in june and gone thru a few recipes but can highly recommend the rich choc wedding cake that can be found in the recipes. it is moist and yummy and cuts very well. just type wedding cake in the search box. i have also tried the ultimate choc cake and it would be good for ganache covering i think. sadly its not suitable for icing as its too soft.0
