I just wanted to say, for anyone who doesn't know what to choose, that MaryKay cosmetics are generally really good quality. They're like Virgin Vie or Avon in the US - direct selling. When I lived in the US, the woman who lived next to me had sold so much MaryKay that the company gave her a baby pink limousine, so she was always giving me little samples. The products aren't overly fancy or gimmicky - they just work. And you're pretty well assured that the company isn't just going to change a formula or withdraw your favourite line.

The pampering hand set is especially nice, though not the tidiest process. If I remember correctly, you put on a really thick cream, leave it on while adding exfoliating scrub, rinse all that off, then finish with handcream. It does make your hands very soft, though!

Having said that, the products do seems a bit pricey in the UK, so take advantage of the freebies! The microdermabrasion set is a really great offer - you get three generous sachets, and the set costs £60 normally.
