    Debt-free and Proud!
Ive spent £16 in m&s on work tops but as it was a MS job I get £15 back, so really i have got 3 new tops for £1 - bargain!

I also had to by £5 worth of food so dinner is sorted too.

So my only 'real' expenditure was lunch which was a subway thats a shared so it only cost me £2.50

Not too bad i dont think :)

Going down with a cold, which at least meant I didn't go into town and spend too much!

95p recorded letter (DS1's college application)
    50p local paper
£1.60 on chocolate bars for children (drawback of popping into small shop/PO on the way home from school)

But I did get another £2 coin, although I cheated a bit by asking for it in the change.

I will have to spend £1.10 to get into town later on bus to meet up with someone for final farewell drinks.

However I went out last night for the group farewell meal and I decided to drive so I wouldn't spend money on drink & taxi. Spent £15 on my meal and soft drinks (only had a main course - first time in my life I have finished every morsel of a curry! :T Usually stuffed myself with poppadums & starter!) and then came home whilst everyone else piled into the pub. Felt a bit sad that I was missing out but I was strict with myself and told myself at least I got out for the meal - not missing out completely.

So anyway I have some money left over from last night which I will use today and will hopefully not have to go near an ATM!

Hope everyone else has a cheap day!

As it goes, I didn't go for the farewell drinks as I had a dodgy stomach  On my days holiday as well

So, I didn't spend that money after all.

However OH has just gone to Sainsburys to get the fresh stuff we need for the weekend so I gave him the £10 note I had (I want change!) and I listed about 25 million things on EBAY today (will pay my fees later in the month) so it's not really spend free. But...better than spending it on booze! (I am sad I didn't get to say a final farewell to my friend though  )

Nothing for me... but managed to acquire a few £2 coins by changing up some loose change in my purse
Ever wonder about those people who spend £2 apiece on those little bottles of Evian water? Try spelling Evian backward.

Not very good at this I'm afraid - this is my first week and haven't quite got to grips with the fact that I am meant to be spending as little as possible each day!! Oh hum! £82 on petrol lawnmower, £16 odd on 5 litre slow cooker (which is a good investment as will save me money in future) and £33 on toilet rolls/kitchen rolls and a shed load of reduced food (which can go in the freezer) - so not too bad and this has come out of shopping budget so not actual spending money I haven't got!!!

Aimed for 3 spend free days this week, but have only managed one and the others have been horrendously overspent. I'm going to really try next week (although am off to X Factor concert on Sunday with friends and Monday with kids (was part of the xmas present), so that won't be cheap - although will take the tip of somebody else on these boards by having a glass of water (tap, of course) between each alcoholic drink!!

Maybe tomorrow could be a no-spend day - oh no, just remembered - needs some jeans for Sunday as only have one pair and they have gone in the crutch!!!
