According to the local paper today, our Woolies (Ashford Kent) is going to be a 99p store!

Looks like Woolies in Camberley and Farnborough are going to be great big empty shops! Got excited cos I thought they were working on Farnborough a while ago but everything has stopped now! Anyone know any different?

Anybody know about Ilford or Romford stores.

Durham has turned into a Tesco Metro, handy for the students I guess as the main Tesco is out of town leaving only M&S if you're self catering and don't have a car.

south shields branch has been split, BMs are taking the store and they are closing a near by one, what a shame

Anybody got any inside info on what's happening with the Keighley branch? I am ever hopeful of it re-opening as Home Bargains but it's still looking sad, empty and neglected. One of many empty shops in our town at the moment sad to say.
