All wins have been £10 or £20.

It's not great statistically and it's worth remembering that the 13x£10 are drawn first, then the 10x£20, then 2x£50, (and £1000 if it's in that draw), so if you're entering the draws with the most wem's you may be entering draws with less than 25 entrants and therefore no chance of getting £50's or £1000's. I'm entering every draw I can because even if I only get a £10 wem every 20 entries at a certain time I'm still breaking even and my statistics aren't based on anything like enough entries to predict wem's over 20 entries, but it seems likely the odds are better than that at any time.

Statistically, one would expect to get 1 wem every 20 entries in a draw that had 500 entrants per draw, so the odds are favourable in draws with less than 500 entrants. That's not useful, is it? "Okay, um... hands up everyone who's entering the next draw..."

Should we take into account how many people enter as a result of reading posts like this one? :-S

3-4am I haven't even been successful being awake at this time!

Interesting that it's 10-11 am and pm that are particularly pants. Nothing from 5 and 6 entries. But even that doesn't suggest that the odds are greater or less than the break-even 1 in 20...

Whew, that was a bit boring! Going to watch Family Guy now. Has anyone else noticed how it's got loads hotter and more humid in the last half-hour? Roll on thunder storm (not a type of deodorant)

You only need the winners codes to work out which card goes with which user code and pass code. You can do it by logging in and trying different activation codes, but I have heard conflicting messages as to whether there is a limit of three attempts to activate the card so it might be worth trying to work them out by when they arrive.

At worst, I would suggest working them out chronologically first, then trying one activation code against each user/pass code until you find the right one, then the next one starting with the user/pass codes still untried, and so on always testing the user/pass codes with the lowest number of attempts first.

Another option is to pay a specialist company to attempt to recover the data from your hard drive. Not cheap, but certainly an option if your winnings are £1000+.

But firstly, contact Magnum; they'll probably just sort it out for you.

Come to think of it, that assumes a £10 win. The average win is in fact £20.50, so break even point would be 1 win every 41 entries. Odds would be favourable in draws of less than 1025 entrants.

This is based on a cost of 50p per Magnum.

Roll on 3am. One more entry, then I can go to bed...
